This was a really fun event, and was a little more challenging then I had expected with the wet course and cold weather, but, still lots of fun. What made this event really super was that my brother Ward went with me.
It has been many, many years since we went to a bike race together, and the first of many to come. Ward was my pit crew and helped me out a lot with food and cloths and taking care of my bike, he did a wonderful job, I was really glad that he was there! It was also nice to see all of my Missouri bike friends.
Those people are so much like family, I really miss them! Thank you to Mesa Cycles and everyone that helped at the event-great job, hope to be there next year!
