Professor Gooch Memorial Ride

  Friday, April 16 - The Professor Gooch Memorial Ride to honor the memory of the Elon University faculty member who was killed in a car-bike accident near the campus on April 3, 2009.  The ride was organized by the Alamance Bicycle Club and J&L Bicycle Company, Burlington, NC.  Over 60 people participated and wore red memory ribbons, we rode from J & L Bicycle Company through town to the University and then on the way back the group stopped and visited with Mrs. Gooch.
